Green Planet operates a fully licensed Waste Disposal Facility. We’ve been operating for 13 Years at our site on Reepham Road, Horsford.

Bulky Waste Disposal

In partnership with AKS Skip Hire, we can operate a ‘Load & Go’ service where we collect these items from you and bring them to our Waste Disposal Site. Our collections are available every day to offer a day and time to suit your needs.

Hazardous Waste

Waste is considered hazardous if it is harmful to humans or the environment. We can dispose of your hazardous waste such as asbestos at our Waste Transfer Station under our permit. As the asbestos reaches its destination, we will be able to complete your consignment note.

WEEE Waste

Recycling WEEE waste is a responsible & safe way of disposing electrical items. As each item is made of a variety of materials, these can be reused rather than being sent to landfill.

At our site in Horsford we operate alongside AKS Skip Hire, so we can offer many waste disposal options to suit you and your needs. Together we’ve been able to recycle 100% of all materials that pass through our waste transfer station using all our own equipment.


Waste that’s brought into us or collected from a skip goes through our picking line where it is sorted into various waste streams, such as  wood, brick, plasterboard, plastic, cardboard, green waste, and metal.
